It was a bit disappointing that in a place with so many restaurants, they all seemed to be closed at lunchtime so I had to go to places like The Venetian and Harrah’s to look for lunch, but while I wait to see when work is carried out on the hotel, I thoroughly received it and it was a bargain compared to some of the other hotels on the strip. Stayed here for a week while visiting Vegas for the first time and I enjoyed every aspect: had a room on the 19th floor with a strip view and thought the room was perfect, stylishly decorated without being over the top and although were a couple of times I heard loud music coming from the strip, and a cop car in the very early hours one night, otherwise it was perfectly quiet fit its location and I got a good nights sleep each night: comments about the decor being dated: I know what they were expecting, maybe a chi-chi wonderland of crystals and gold but the decor was fine, given that at some point the hotel will be redeveloped it’s understandable that a fortune hasn’t been spent on changing things but there was no worn bedding, curtains and decorations like you could possibly expect.
